Background
Jude Simpson is a strategist for the consultancy firm PwC and has spent many years working with the NHS and healthcare providers tackling strategic challenges.
She started her career in education, is a trained teacher and has acted as a school governor.
She recently completed a MSc in Health Policy with the focus of her dissertation on access to early intervention for preschool children with Down syndrome.
When Jude’s youngest daughter, Vita, was born with Down syndrome in 2020, her whole family benefited from the emotional and practical support that DSUK offer, particularly when Vita was also diagnosed with infantile spasms aged 5 months.
The extraordinary positive impact that the charity had led to Jude increasingly seeking opportunities to work with Nicola informally before joining the board of trustees.
