Community Fundraising

Working together for a more inclusive future.

There are lots of groups in our communities – Rotary Clubs, Brownies and Guides, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, Lions Clubs, mums and toddler groups, sports clubs, faith groups and many more – all can get involved to support Down Syndrome UK. Fundraising together makes it more fun and more people means more ideas too!

Groups raise much needed funds and we rely on these groups to ensure we can continue to be there for our families. There are lots of ways your group could support us, including…

Host a PADS Bingo event

From holding your own event, getting your community or workplace involved, we’ve got lots of free PADS Bingo resources to help you plan a fabulous fundraising event!

Hold a cake sale or coffee morning

It could be a cake you’ve baked or one you’ve bought but cake sales are always popular. Asking for donations towards them will all add up!

Dress Up for Down syndrome

Crack out your fancy dress for a good cause! And show the world there’s nothing down about Down syndrome!

Hold a sports tournament

How about a charity run, 5 a-side football, a table tennis match or a bounce-a-thon! The options are endless!

Organise a sponsored event

Get involved in a sponsored walk, sponsored silence, sponsored give-up-chocolate (eek!)

Have fun, be creative, keep it simple – get in touch for Down Syndrome UK resources to enhance your fundraising!

Thank you for your support.
