Personalised Postcard for World Down Syndrome Day
These bespoke A5 postcards are a simple, thoughtful way to celebrate your child and share information with their class for World Down Syndrome Day.
Each postcard is personalised with your child’s name, age, photos and a short, positive message about who they are. It’s designed to help classmates understand Down syndrome in a friendly, age-appropriate way, while celebrating your child as part of the school community.
Many parents already create their own activities to mark World Down Syndrome Day – sharing seeds, popcorn or stories to show that children grow and learn in their own ways. These postcards are our way of making that easier, especially if time or energy is limited.
You’ll receive 30 professionally printed A5 postcards, ready to share with your child’s class on or around 21 March. They’re ideal for use in primary schools, early years settings and SEND classrooms.
Wording on the front of the postcard:
Hi! My name is ____ and I’m ___ years old.
I love ____, ____, ____!
Thank you for helping me celebrate World Down Syndrome Day! I have Down syndrome. This means I sometimes need more time to learn things — especially speaking, remembering and understanding.
I enjoy playing, learning and laughing with my nursery/school class. I love having friends, being included and joining in with everything at nursery/school — especially sharing special days like this with everyone.
Wording on the back of the card
21st March is World Down Syndrome Day
World Down Syndrome Day – a chance to educate and celebrate!
World Down Syndrome Day is a chance to learn, challenge old assumptions, and celebrate the strengths and individuality of people with Down syndrome.
When we value diversity, raise expectations and remove barriers, everyone has the opportunity to thrive and be included in their community.
