This 40 minutes session is for parents and professionals who are dealing with bedwetting. Bedwetting is a common problem that can affect all children and is recognised as a medical problem in those over the age of 5 years who are toilet trained in the day. Whilst this session was developed with a child with Down syndrome in mind the content is relevant to any child with enuresis.

This session was led by June Rogers MBE, retired children’s continence nurse who has extensive experience in working with children and young people with Down syndrome. It gives an overview of bedwetting, including causes and treatments, as well as discussing what things families can do to help improve, if not resolve, the problem. All references/medication will relate to UK guidance.
