Developing speech, language and communication in the home (5-11 years)
Children with Down syndrome typically have an uneven profile of speech, language and communication skills. This session briefly covers this profile and focusses on practical strategies and activities that parents can be doing at home to target these important skills.
Our on-demand sessions give you access to a recording of our online Information Sharing Session ‘Developing speech, language and communication in the home (5-11 years)‘. You will have access for 90 days from the date of sign up you can watch and re-watch the presentation. You will need to be a member of our PADS Parent Portal to access the recording – it’s free to sign-up and if you aren’t already a member you can join here.
We are keen for everyone in the UK to be able to access our information and support. We are offering payment options for our families – the standard cost to attend this session is £5, but we are offering some places at £2.50 for those who are able to contribute but not at the full rate and for anyone for whom finances would prohibit them attending, we are pleased to be able to offer a number of places at no charge. We do not require any evidence of income; we are a parent-led charity, and we trust our families. Please select an option in the box at the top right of the page to pay or register for free here.
