Social care and the transition to adulthood

This new information sharing session, led by parent Mirjana Fowle focuses on social care and the transition to adulthood. We will look at what social care support is available after the age of 18, the different routes into adult social care, and your rights as a carer when your child becomes an adult. There will also be time for questions, giving you the opportunity to get clarity and support on any issues or concerns you may have.

Our on-demand sessions give you access to a recording of our online Information Sharing Session ‘Early intervention and management of constipation’. You will have access for 90 days from the date of sign up you can watch and re-watch the presentation. You will need to be a member of our PADS Parent Portal to access the recording – it’s free to sign-up and if you aren’t already a member you can join here.

We are keen for everyone in the UK to be able to access our information and support. We are offering payment options for our families – the standard cost to attend this session is £5, but we are offering some places at £2.50 for those who are able to contribute but not at the full rate and for anyone for whom finances would prohibit them attending, we are pleased to be able to offer a number of places at no charge. We do not require any evidence of income; we are a parent-led charity, and we trust our families. Please select an option in the box at the top right of the page to pay or register for free here.
