Sunflower challenge pack
£10.00
Celebrate World Down Syndrome Day this March with DSUK’s Sunflower Challenge, designed for anyone to take part. This fun, hands-on activity helps us learn about nature while opening up conversations about kindness and inclusion. Just like sunflowers, we all grow and bloom in different ways – and that’s something to celebrate. For pack details, see below!
In stock
Each pack can be used for up to 30 individuals and includes:
- A bright A4 poster to show you’re taking part in the challenge.
- A double-sided A5 flyer with growing instructions and challenge details.
- A pack of sunflower seeds (approximately 30 seeds) ready for planting.
- A sheet of 30 colourful stickers to encourage and reward participation.
You can decorate your pots, plant your seeds, and watch your sunflowers grow. Every plant will look different – some taller, some with fewer leaves, some a little slower to bloom – helping us all see how difference makes the world brighter.
What you’ll need: soil and pots for planting (any size you wish – recycling containers works brilliantly).
Extra support for schools: downloadable resources and activity ideas will be provided to make it easy for your school to take part and celebrate together.
Join families and schools across the UK in this positive, creative challenge and help children learn that, like sunflowers, we all thrive in our own unique way.
Pre-order now: packs will be delivered in late-Jan, early-Feb 2026 to arrive in time for World Down Syndrome Day.
