Brighton Marathon 2027
On Sunday 4 April 2027, thousands of runners will line up along the coast for the Brighton Marathon - one of the UK's favourite 26.2-mile routes, taking in the Royal Pavilion, Brighton Palace Pier and a stunning finish on the seafront at Hove.
We have a limited number of charity places available, and we’d love you to join our team. By running for Down Syndrome UK (DSUK), you’ll be helping us reach more families at the moments that matter most – from the earliest days of a diagnosis, through education and into adulthood.
- Date: Sunday 4th April 2027
- Minimum fundraising target: £350
- Where? Brighton, starting at Preston Park
- How far? 26.2 miles
The Brighton Marathon is one of the UK’s biggest and best-loved marathons, and it’s easy to see why. The course is fast, mostly flat and full of character, winding from Preston Park through the heart of the city before opening out along the coast. You’ll pass the Royal Pavilion and Brighton Palace Pier, run beside the sea towards Ovingdean, and finish to a roar of crowd support on Hove seafront, where the Beach Village is waiting to celebrate with you.
Whether this is your first marathon or your tenth, you’ll have our team behind you every step of the way. When you join Team DSUK, we’ll support you with fundraising ideas and resources, regular encouragement, and a running vest to wear with pride on the day.
Every mile you run helps us be there for more families – listening, guiding, and standing alongside them from diagnosis onwards. We’d love to see you on the start line.
