Paying in your donation
Thank you for fundraising for Down Syndrome UK. Every pound you raise helps us support people with Down syndrome and their families, and we’re really grateful for the time and effort you’ve put in.
There are several simple ways to pay in the money you’ve raised. Choose the option that works best for you.
Paying in online (recommended)
If you set up an online fundraising page, donations are paid to us automatically. If you haven’t set up a fundraising page yet, you can do this at any time.
Paying in by bank transfer
You can pay in funds directly by bank transfer. This works well for workplace fundraisers or events where you’ve collected money separately.
Paying in by cheque
Cheques should be made payable to Down Syndrome UK. Tell us you're paying in a cheque using the link below and we'll give you the instructions.
Cash donations
If you’ve collected cash at an event, we recommend paying it into your bank and then transferring the total to us by bank transfer. Or if you contact us, we can provide a paying in slip by post.
Gift aid
If you’re a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid allows us to claim an extra 25p for every £1 donated, at no extra cost to the donor.
Gift Aid can usually be added:
- directly through online fundraising pages.
- via Gift Aid forms for cheque or bank transfer donations.
If you’re unsure what applies to your fundraiser, we’re happy to advise.
