David is a Chartered Civil Engineer at AECOM, working within the water sector. He has previously worked in local government, delivering capital programmes and developing a strong interest in how infrastructure investment can create wider social value for communities.

David is married to Ruth and is a father to four children, the youngest of whom, Norah, has Down Syndrome. This experience has shaped his commitment to supporting families and improving access to clear, balanced information.

David is particularly interested in strengthening regional representation and in how the charity sector can better connect with, and benefit from, social value opportunities within his own industry and the wider economy. He brings both professional expertise and lived experience to support the organisation’s continued growth and impact.
