You are here:

Understanding complex feeding challenges

Learn about why learning to eat is so difficult for some children. You will be taken through some of the common mealtime challenges and be provided with some strategies to help your child with eating at home. This course is open to all but please be aware that these sessions are designed specifically for parents/carers of children with Down syndrome.

This online session is led by Natalie Raven, Founder and CEO of The Feeding Trust which is the UK national charity for Paediatric Feeding Disorders.

Our on-demand sessions give you access to a recording of our online Information Sharing Session ‘Understanding complex feeding challenges’. You will have access for 90 days from the date of sign up you can watch and re-watch the presentation. You will need to be a member of our PADS Parent Portal to access the recording – it’s free to sign-up and if you aren’t already a member you can join here.

We are keen for everyone in the UK to be able to access our information and support. We are offering payment options for our families – the standard cost to attend this session is £5, but we are offering some places at £2.50 for those who are able to contribute but not at the full rate and for anyone for whom finances would prohibit them attending, we are pleased to be able to offer a number of places at no charge. We do not require any evidence of income; we are a parent-led charity, and we trust our families. Please select an option in the box at the top right of the page to pay or register for free here.
