This year World Down Syndrome Day is extra special – falling on a Saturday – for the last time in over a decade – it gives us a rare chance to come together and celebrate in a really big way.
You’re invited to join us in celebrating — wherever you are and in whatever way feels right for you. Whether that’s in your school or workplace, at home or out in your community, online or in person, we hope you’ll join DSUK in celebrating WDSD! From funky socks to sunflower challenges, fundraising to parties, skydives to simply sharing a story that means something to you — there’s no single “right” way to take part. There’s just your way.

Raise awareness
World Down Syndrome Day is about celebrating the people we love. Our social media frames and personalised videos give you a simple way to share your child’s story, celebrate who they are and help others understand what inclusion really means. Make sure to tag us in your posts!
Use these social media posts to raise awareness and if you’d like to encourage donations, you can set-up a JustGiving page and add the link in your social posts. We suggest starting with a fundraising target of something like £21 or £213.
